M4 should be M3 (but I had to look 2 or 3 times)
So, do owners receive a –M patch for downgrading … like the way Intel manages their microcode?

I suspect it would be less expensive to “donate” the boards than to repackage ![]()
Maybe university students or Profs who are teaching STM32 classes.

makes perfect sense, increasing the number from 1->3 to indicate you’re going from 3->4 ![]()

i’d guess 64 pins rhymes with a 4, so the package designer made that M4 instead of M3
