Is any of you going to Maker Faire (Bay Area USA) this weekend ?
I’m going, and I noticed that STM are a sponsor, so will try to have a chat with them.
Arduino are there as well, and I’m hoping to have a chat with Sandeep Mistry who I know via github.
I cant see Adafruit listed (which is strange) otherwise I could ask about their STMF2 wifi board
I also didnt see Sparkfun listed either
But Nordic Semi are there, which is another area of interest to me
Searching the Maker Faire app, there are no references to ESP8266 at all. I found a oblique reference to IoT which I think was ESP8266 based but thats it.
But Android app leaves a lot to be desired, and I suspect a lot more meta data would not go amiss from the Makers and Sponsors etc
However the App is pretty useless,so it just means they are not a direct sponsor. Otherwise even the useless search would find them
I’m curious if anyone has been before and can say if one day would be enough to go through it all (Sat 10am-7pm).
Or are there special / different events on Sat vs Sun(other than the talks of course).
I’m also wondering if STM(or companies in general) have tech people or sales people there(or both ?).

Be prepared for large crowds. We at talking 10s of thousands. Attendance is close to half a million people spread out over the three days. There will be long lines. Even though it is a bit limited download the app for your phone as this replaces the printed programs. Stuff is grouped by theme and this shows where the themes are.

They also seem to be promoting wearables.
In the same email, there was showing also some kind of RF 868Mhz module.
