The F3 core is getting further and further out of date. So now that there are practical alternatives from the ST official core etc.
I think its probably time to remove this.
I only added it in the first place to save the source code from being lost, and removing it from git will not remove all trace of it, as it will still be in the previous commits if anyone wants to look at it, or even use it.
But removing it will make the overall download around 25% smaller, and also not lead people to believe that its an up to date / usable core.
Good idea
I’ll make a branch, then its easier to find, but can be removed from the Master
Best, E.
There never seemed to be a time when there were no pending issues and pending PRs
This is partially because I can’t devote the amount of time that would be require to achieve this.
I think someone would probably need to spend at least 4 hours a week. Probably nearer to 8 hours a week to do this, and I can’t spare that amount of time.
Making a last branch like suggested above, or just taking the list of the last commit that included the F3 and adding it to the wiki should be more than enough.

and I’ve deleted the F3 folder from the Master

You could replace the missing 25% with some nice soothing audio tracks! Kylie or Jason as a tribute to Roger’s heritage!
Just joking.
